Middlesea Insurance plc – Appointment of Chief Officer

Middlesea Insurance plc announced that Mr Fernando Docampo has been appointed as Chief Officer responsible for the distribution channels of the company, as from the 1 January 2013. The said appointment is subject to regulatory clearance and approval by the Malta Financial Services Authority.

Mr Docampo, who is a Spanish national, has a degree in economics and entrepreneurship from the Santiago de Compostela University in Spain. He has been employed since the year 1992 with the Mapfre Group in various management positions with Mapfre Inversion S.A., Mapfre Vida S.A. and Mapfre Familiar S.A. related to the commercial business development through the Mapfre sales network in Spain.
