New Issuance of Fixed Rate Malta Government Stocks – Oversubsribed

The Accountant General announces that the Malta Government Stocks issue of October 2016 was closed on Monday 17th October 2016 at 2.30pm shortly after it was oversubscribed. In this regard, the auction which was scheduled to be held at noon on Monday 24th October 2016 is being cancelled as no balance was available for allocation under the auction/bid system.

The allocation policy being adopted for applications received from members of the public will be announced immediately after the vetting of applications for compliance with the provisions of the prospectus is finalised.
