HSBC Bank Malta plc – Change in Chairmanship

HSBC Bank Malta plc announced that Mr. Albert Mizzi will be retiring as Chairman and Director of the Bank with effect from 31 May 2013.

The Bank also announced that Mr. Sonny Portelli, who is presently a Non-Executive Director of the Bank and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee, will be appointed as the new Non-Executive Chairman of the Bank with effect from 31 May 2013.

Mr. Portelli was appointed as Non-Executive Director of the Bank in October 2006.
