HSBC Bank Malta plc – Appointment of Director

HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. announced the appointment of Mr. John Bonello as Non-Executive Director of the Bank with effect from 15 July 2013. Mr. Bonello resides at 2, Oleander Street, The Gardens, St. Julians STJ 1910.

Mr. Bonello is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is also a Certified Public Accountant, Auditor and member of the Malta Institute of Accountants. He was formerly the Chairman and Senior Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Malta from where he retired on 31 December 2009.

Mr. Bonello is also Director of Tigne Mall p.l.c. and Island Hotels Group Holdings p.l.c.

No matter concerning Mr. Bonello requires disclosure under Listing Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.
