HSBC Bank Malta plc – Appointment of Director

HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. announced the appointment of Dr. Andrew Muscat as a Non-Executive Director of the Bank with effect from 16 January 2014. Dr. Muscat  resides at 200, Main Street, St Julians STJ 1019. 

Dr. Muscat is a Partner of Mamo TCV Advocates, a member of the Malta Law Academy  and Professor of Commercial Law at the University of Malta. He is a former member of the  Board of Governors of the Malta Financial Services Authority. 

Dr. Muscat is also a Director of a number of Malta University owned Companies and a Director of TCV Management and Trust Services Limited. 

No matter concerning Dr. Muscat requires disclosure under Listing Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.
