GlobalCapital plc – Appointment of Deputy Chairman

GlobalCapital p.l.c. announced that the Board of Directors unanimously resolved to appoint Mr. Moussa Ibrahim Rawat as Deputy Chairman of the Company.

Mr Rawat was appointed to the Board of Directors in December 2013. Mr. Rawat holds a B. (Hons) Civil Engineering degree from Edinburgh University (UK). He is the chairman of Bramer Corporation Limited, a financial services

group that operates in three main lines of business, namely insurance, banking and asset management.

 

Mr. Rawat is a director of Bramer Banking Corporation Ltd which is listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius and

British American Investments Company (Kenya) Limited which is listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange.

 

The appointment is with effect from January 29, 2014.
