GlobalCapital plc – Nomination of candidates for election of directors

GlobalCapital plc announced that further to the Company Announcement dated 3rd June 2014 wherein it was stated that the Company was accepting nominations in writing of candidates for the election of Directors to take place at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting to be held on 11th July 2014, the Company received the nomination of the following eights candidates: 

Mr. Joseph R Aquilina 

Prof. Thomas St.John Neville Bates 

Dr. Andrew Borg Cardona 

Mr. Dawood A. Rawat 

Mr. Moussa I. Rawat 

Mr. Nigel Scerri 

Mr. Arun Shankardass 

Mr. Oumeshsingh Sookdawoor

In terms of the articles of Association of the Company any member holding, as on the Record Date, at least fourteen per cent (14%) of all the voting rights of the Company shall have the right to appoint a director for each and every complete fourteen per cent (14%) thereof. Any director appointed in accordance with this provision shall be so appointed by letter to the Company, which must be delivered to, or be received by the Company, not later than three (3) days prior to the date appointed for the Annual General Meeting.
