Simonds Farsons Cisk plc – Approval of a permit for the rehabilitation of the Farsons Old Brewhouse in Mriehel

The company announced that, the development application filed in May 2015 and which was the subject of a company announcement issued on 29 May 2015 was considered by the Board of the Planning Authority on 13 January 2017 and published on 25 January 2017.

The Board of the Planning Authority unanimously approved a permit for the rehabilitation of the Farsons Old Brewhouse in Mriehel. The rehabilitation project covers the restoration and conversion of approximately 7,000 square meters of industrial space which will include a Visitor Centre Experience with supporting food and other retail outlets, flexible workspace and additional amenities.

The project is envisaged to commence in mid-2017 and is expected to be completed within two years with an investment of around €10 million. The lead designer firm of the project is Ian Ritchie Architects Limited of London assisted by TBA Periti as the local architects and structural engineers and supported by a multi-disciplinary team of local and foreign specialists.
